

El Dorado International Airport is an international airport serving the city of Bogota. The airport is the busiest in Colombia and the busiest across all of Latin America in terms of passenger traffic.
Due to its location, the airport is the most well-connected in Latin America and one of the most well-connected airports in the world. The continually ranks within the best airports in South America according to Skytrax.
The airport is a hub for flag carrier Avianca as well as the local branches of Copa and LATAM airlines. The airport is also serviced by another 37 airlines that offer flights to cities across North and South America, Europe and the Middle East.
The airport features two runways that service the airports two passenger terminals. Terminal 1 features a unique lower case h shape and handles a mixture of domestic and international flights. Terminal 2, known as Puente Aéreo, mostly handles domestic flights for Avianca and LATAM.
The airport is located in Fontibon a western area of Bogotá approximately 12km from the centre of Bogota. Taxis and rideshare services are readily available outside each terminal.
