

Vantelin Dome is a baseball stadium located in the city of Nagoya. The stadium was built in 1997 and features a capacity of 36,418 that is expandable 49,000. The stadium is the home ground of Japanese baseball team Chunichi Dragons in the Nippon Professional Baseball league.
The stadium opened to replace the Dragon’s former home Nagoya Stadium which had become outdated by modern standards in the 1990s. The new stadium was one of many domed baseball stadiums built in Japan during the 1990s.
The stadium features an enclosed geodisc dome design. Seating is arranged around the entire field with great sight lines from virtually all seats. Concourse areas are busy and feature a number of local and western style eateries.
Vantelin Dome is easily accessible via the Nagoya Subway system. Nagoya Dome-Mae Yada station is located close to the stadium and is part of the Meijo Line and the Yutorito Line.
