TRIP Located within the Western Sydney suburb of Parramatta, Bankwest Stadium Is a multi-purpose stadium that has a seating capacity of 30,000. Opened in 2019, the stadium is set to be used for football, rugby league and rugby union.
TAP As Australia’s newest sporting facility, Bankwest Stadium includes a number of features that are found in some of the world’s best stadiums. The stadium’s roof has been expertly designed to cover all 30,000 seats, as well as helping to keep the atmosphere and sound in during games. The stadium’s stands (especially the upper level) are some of the steepest in Australia, ensuring all spectators are close to the playing field regardless of where they are seated.
Apart from stadium’s physical design, the facility’s amenities are also sure to meet and succeed visitor’s expectations. Food, drink and merchandise facilities are plentiful and were able to satisfactorily meet demand during our visit. The concourse areas are wide and spacious, allowing visitors to move between their seats and the stadiums amenities with noticeable ease. Bankwest Stadium has raised the bar for stadium design in Australia making it one of the best places to watch live sport in Sydney.
GO There are number of ways visitors can reach Bankwest Stadium; we recommend using the Sydney Trains rail network (Parramatta Station) due to the number of connections available when using this service on busy game days.
