Arena Guide: Kaseya Center, Miami

Kaesya arena is a multi-purpose arena located in Miami. The arena opened in 1999 and features a maximum seating capacity of 19,600. The arena was known as American Airlines Arena for most of its existence before taking on its current name in 2024.

Despite being over 25 years old, the arena is the busiest in the state of Florida and 12th busiest across the United States. Regular investment in the arena’s amenities and fan experience has ensured Kaseya Center remains as one of the most popular locations for sports and live entertainment.

Kaseya Center is best known for serving has the home court of the National Basketball Association’s Miami Heat. Recent upgrades to the arena have improved the match day experience for fans. The most noticeable of these renovations has been the additional of the dynamic 3D scoreboard which is intended to replicate the team’s flaming basketball logo.

Kaseya Center is located in downtown Miami. The arena is easily accessible via the city’s Metrorail rapid transit system. Alight at either the Freedom Tower or Park West station both are located within walking distance of the arena. If not arriving by public transport, consider taxi or rideshare services as parking spaces near the arena are limited.
