Webster’s is a bar located in Newtown, a suburb in the inner west of Sydney. Interestingly the first building to occupy the current site of the bar, the New Town Store, became the namesake of the suburb that grew around it.
The venue would take on several names after becoming a pub from the Daniel Webster to the Oxford Hotel and the cleverly named ZanziBar. The pub took on its current name in 2016 has nod to the original owners of the New Town Store John and Eliza Webster.
The bar features three distinct levels. The lower-level rustic style front bar features a pool table a several screens showing live sport, level 1 is a more sophisticated lounge bar space and on the rooftop, you’ll find the open-air rooftop perfect for summer in Sydney.
