
Osaka Itami Airport is domestic airport serving the cities of Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe. ITM was Osaka’s principal international gateway for most of its existence until the opening of Kansai International Airport in 1994.
The airport serves as a hub for All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines. The airport is also serviced by another five airlines offering flights to cities across Japan.
Itami airport features two runways that services a single terminal separated into a North and South section.
The airport is located in Itami approximately 16km from the center of Osaka. The airport is connected to the Osaka monorail which connects to several lines across Osaka’s vast public transportation network.
