Cancún International Airport is an international airport serving the city of Cancún, Mexican Caribbean, Riveira Maya and the Yucatán Peninsula. The airport is the second busiest in Mexico after Mexico City International Airport.

The airport serves as a hub for Viva and a focus city for Volaris. The airport is also served by another 52 airlines that offer flights to over 100 cities across North America, Latin America and Europe.

The airport features two parallel runways that service the airports four terminals. Terminals 2 and 4 handle both international and domestic flights whilst terminal 3 is dedicated solely to flights from international destinations. Terminal 1 is currently closed as facilities undergo renovations.

Cancun airport is located approximately 28km from the Zona Hotelera. We recommend visitors organise pickup through your hotel before arriving. Expect the trip to take approximately 15 minutes. Please note, rideshare services and local taxis cannot pick up passengers from the airport.
