Airport Review: San Antonio International Airport (SAT)

San Antonio International Airport is an international airport serving the city of San Antonio in Texas. One Texas’s smaller airports, SAT features important connections throughout the southern United States and into Mexico. 

The airport features two runways that services the airport’s two modern terminal buildings. Most flights that arrive and depart at the airport be out of terminal 1.

The airport does not serve as a hub or focus city for any airlines but is serviced by 14 airlines. These airlines offer flights to cities across the United States and select cities in Canada and Mexico.

SAT airport is located in uptown central San Antonio approximately 13km north of downtown San Antonio. Route 7 on the VIA Metropolitan Transit system offers a direct bus service from the airport to downtown San Antonio. Taxis and rideshare services are also readily available.
