Airport Review: Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)

Boston Logan International Airport is an international airport serving the city of Boston. BOS airport ranks within the top 20 busiest airports in the United States and the busiest in the northeast. The airport’s full name is General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport.

The airport is a hub for Delta Airlines and a focus city for JetBlue. You’ll also find another 51 airlines that offer flights to cities across North America, South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

The airport features six runways that service the airport’s four modern terminals. Terminal A is used almost exclusively by Delta with Terminal B shared by most other major North American Airlines. Terminal C features a mix of international and domestic airlines with Terminal E used for international arrivals.

BOS is located approximately 8km from the centre of downtown Boston making transfer to a from the city quicker than most airports of a similar size serving major cities. The route 88 bus connects visitors to the Airport Station on MBTA’s blue line. The MBTA silver line bus is also available connecting all terminals to South Station. Taxi and ride share services are also readily available.
