The Sapporo TV tower is television tower and observation deck located in the Northern city of Japan on Hokkaido Island. The 147 metre tower was built in 1957 and has become a symbol of the city.

The tower features an observation deck on the third level that is 90 metre above ground. The observation deck is small with large windows offering views across the city, over Odori Park below and up to mountains that surround the city.

On the lower levels of the tower you’ll find souvenir shops, Gashapon machines and various dining options. The TV tower centrally located in the centre of Sapporo within Odori Park. If you choose to visit via public transport, alight at Ōdōri Station located a short 5 minute walk from the base of the tower.
