How to Visit the TV Tower in Brasilia

The TV Tower is a radio and television tower located in the city of Brasilia, Brazil. Apart from supporting the city’s telecommunication needs, the tower also features museums and an observation deck that offers panoramic views over the planned city of Brasilia.

The tower was built in 1967 and features a height of 224 metres making it the fourth tallest structure in Brazil. The tower’s location at the centre of the Monumental Axis offers visitors 360 views over the city from the tower’s observation deck. From this viewpoint, visitors can appreciate the planning that went into building the unique city of Brasilia and many of its Oscar Niemeyer designed landmarks.

The tower is located close to many of the city’s other popular landmarks making it a great place to start your tour of the city.
