The Bell’s Hotel is pub located in Woolloomooloo, close to Sydney’s CBD. The pub opened in 1922 and is the second venue to operate from the site across from the Woolloomooloo wharves. 

The self-described ‘country pub in the city’ is located in one of Sydney’s most picturesque areas, where it faces the harbour and has the city’s skyline rising behind it. The pub has witnessed the drastic changes that have taken place over the past 100 years since replacing Punch’s Hotel the former pub that occupied the site since 1868.

Once considered one of the roughest pubs in the area frequented by dock workers and navy personnel stationed at garden island, the current venue is more laid back.
