The Botany View Hotel is pub located in Newtown, an inner west suburb of Sydney. The venue specialises in live music with everything from bands to DJs on regular rotation.

Opened in 1868 with the exterior was updated in the 1930s to reflect the art deco style that was popular at the time. You’ll still find reminders of what the pub would have looked like with the preserved stained-glass ship still bearing the pub’s name.

These days the pub features a more stripped back style that reflects the aesthetic of the surrounding area. You’ll find a variety of different spaces full of vintage style furnishings.
