The Iron Duke Hotel is a pub located in Alexandria a southern suburb of Sydney. The pub features one the best beer gardens of the many venues that can be found along busy Botany Road.
The pub was once one of Sydney’s most notorious, formerly owned by convicted criminal Neddy Smith, who survived a murder attempt at the pub in 1986. These days the atmosphere at the pub is far more relaxed with regular comedy and trivia nights held in the pubs front bar.
The pub also features a spacious beer garden out back with a deck and plenty of natural foliage.
