Harry Reid International Airport is an international airport serving the city of Las Vegas in Nevada. The airport was known as McCarran International Airport for most of its existence until it was renamed in 2021 after former U.S. congressman and Nevada senator Harry Reid.

The airport features four runways that service the airports two terminals that are numbered terminals 1 and 3. Fittingly, for an airport serving a city like Las Vegas, slot machines can be found throughout the airport terminal. Also, be sure to check out the Cessna 172 airplane hanging from the ceiling in the terminal 1 baggage claim area. This plane was used to set a world record endurance flight that lasted 64 days in 1958.

LAS airport serves as an operating base for Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines and Spirit Airlines. LAS is also served by another 32 airlines that offer flights to cities across North and Central America, Asia and Europe.

The airport is located at the southern end off the world-famous Las Vegas strip and approximately 8km south of downtown Las Vegas. The most popular way to get from the airport to most areas in Las Vegas is by taxi or rideshare which are both easy to catch when leaving the arrivals areas.
