Goros is a Japanese themed bar located in Surry Hills, Sydney. The bar offers visitors a great fusion of Japanese-style food, drink and entertainment.

The Japanese theme is well done, with bamboo and paper screens used to great effect throughout the bar. A giant Garfield plush toy used to occupy one of the central bamboo booths, a popular photo op, but was mysteriously absent when we last visited.

The menu at Goros features a wide range of Japanese staples with a dedicated late-night menu also available from 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Japanese beers are available on tap with sake and Japanese whiskies available behind the bar.

Goros also features a sizeable outdoor section covered in neon lights that suits the theme of the bar perfectly. When you head back inside, you’ll also find dedicated karaoke rooms and a selection of arcade games.
