TRIP Located in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Central Coast Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium that has a capacity of 20,000. The stadium is predominately used for football, but also hosts the occasional rugby and rugby league matches.

TAP Central Coast Stadium consists of two semi-covered seated stands as well as an uncovered seated stand at the ground’s northern end, forming a ‘horseshoe’ seating layout around three sides of the stadium. The fourth side of the stadium features a row of palm trees through which visitors can view the Brisbane Waters estuary. The palm tree end of the stadium, a unique feature of this stadium, helps to incorporate the surrounding area into the stadium’s design.

Central Coast Stadium features spacious internal and external public areas making it easy for visitors to move between their seats and the stadiums range of amenities. When purchasing tickets visitors should be aware that the stadium does feature a number of seats with obstructed views, mostly towards the rear of the lower level undercover areas, so be sure to take that into account when purchasing tickets. Despite this minor issue, Central Coast Stadium is an excellent place to watch a game and is arguably one of Australia’s most scenic sporting venues.

GO The best way to reach Central Coast Stadium is via the Sydney Trains rail network (Gosford station). Check Trip Planner for the best way to get there from your location. Tickets for most events held at Central Coast Stadium are sold through Ticketek. Head over to Central Coast Stadium’s official website for more information and all upcoming events.
