Empower Field at Mile High is a stadium located in Denver. The stadium was built in 2001 and features a seating capacity of 76,125 that expandable depending on the event. The stadium is primarily used as the home ground of the Denver Broncos in the National Football League.

The stadium was built to replace Mile High Stadium, maintaining many of the former stadium’s popular features. The new stadium remains 1 mile above sea level, features a similar horseshoe shaped design and a 9.1metre replica of Roy Rogers’ horse, Trigger, located on top of the central scoreboard.

Apart from hosting the Denver Broncos, the stadium is also a popular venue for association football, having hosted Major League Soccer’s Colorado Rapids from 2002 to 2006 and regularly hosting matches in the CONCACAF Gold Cup and Nations League and several international friendlies.

The stadium is located in the Sun Valley area of Denver close to the city’s downtown. The stadium is easily accessible via the RTD light rail system featuring a deliciated stop on the E and W line.
