Pub Review: Horse and Jockey Hotel, Homebush, Sydney 

The Horse and jockey Hotel is a pub located in Homebush, a suburb of Sydney. Over the years the pub became known for its connection horse racing a reputation which continues to this day.

The original bar to occupy the site was The Half Way House which opened in 1809. The pub would later take on its current name due to its proximity to Homebush Racecourse and previous owner and former jockey James Kerwin.

The front bar has been recently renovated. The pub also features a courtyard and still offers accommodation.

On the menu you’ll find your usual pub classic as well as a wide selection of Asian dishes.
