

Xfinity Mobile Arena is a multipurpose arena located in Philadelphia. The arena opened in 1996 and features a maximum capacity of 21,000. The arena has formerly been known as CoreStates Center, First Union Center, Wachovia Center and Wells Fargo Center before adopting its current name in 2025.
The arena was built to replace the historic Philadelphia Spectrum the former home of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and Philadelphia 76ers in the National Basketball Association. Both teams moved to the new arena in 1996 and continue serve as the arena’s principal tenants.
Despite holding up well for its near 30-year-old age, the arena is expected to be replaced in 2031 by a new $1.3 billion dollar arena which will become the new home of the Flyers and 76ers.
The arena is also a popular concert venue included as regular stop of most arena tours of the United States. Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel are two of the arena’s most notable performers having sold out 56 and 48 shows respectively.
The arena is located within the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, an area of the city which also includes Lincoln Financial Field, Citizens Bank Park and Stateside Live! The arena is easily accessible via the city’s SEPTA railway network. Alight at NRG station located within the Sports Complex and a short walk from the entrance of the arena.
