Sculpture by the Sea is an annual outdoor sculpture exhibition held in Bondi. The exhibition features over 100 sculptures by Australian and international artists.
The sculptures are spread across a 2km cliff top coastal walk from the southern end of Bondi Beach to Tamarama beach. The exhibition takes full advantage of one Sydney’s most scenic locations offering the perfect backdrop to the sculptures.
The type of sculptures you’ll find at Sculpture by the Sea varies from traditional abstract sculptures, the surreal creations and larger than life representations of everyday objects.
The best way to reach Bondi Beach is by using the Sydney train and bus network. From either Central or Town Hall Station you can take a train to the Bondi Junction interchange where you can then catch the 333 bus that will take you to stops along Campbell Parade in approximately 45 minutes. Alternatively, you can also take the 333 bus directly from the city to the beach but expect a slightly longer travel time.
Sculpture by the Sea is free with no tickets required.
