TRIP The Art of Banksy is an art exhibition collecting a number of artworks by world-renowned British street artist Banksy. The exhibition collects eighty of Banksy’s artworks presented across a number of different mediums, including canvases, screen prints and sculptures.

TAP The artworks contained throughout the exhibition are sourced from the private collection of Steve Lazarides, Banksy’s personal photographer and manager between 1997 and 2008. Interwoven throughout the exhibition are a number of screens playing short interviews with Lazarides, providing fascinating insights into the rationale, method and execution of some of Banksy’s most famous artworks.

Expect to find a number of Banksy’s most famous works at The Art of Banksy, including the Flower Thrower, Balloon Girl, Banksy’s take on Pulp Fiction as well as many others. The exhibition is curated by Lazarides and is spread out over five different rooms with each room dedicated to a different component of Banky’s work. Visitors are welcome to take photographs and just like Banksy’s 2010 documentary, visitors can expect to exit through the gift shop.

GO Having opened in Sydney in September, after visiting a number of cities across Europe and North America, The Art of Banksy has been extended, and is now open until 17 November 2019 in a temporary exhibition space located at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, Sydney.
