

Nationals Park is a baseball stadium located in Washington D.C. the stadium opened in 2008 and features a capacity of 41,373. The stadium is the home ground of Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals.
The stadium features a modern design made up primarily of steel and glass which was unique at the time of its opening due to most ballparks built in the late 90s and early 2000s featuring retro inspired designs.
Although landmarks like Capitol Building and the Washington Monument can be seen from certain areas in around the stadium, views have become somewhat obstructed due to developments in the area.
The stadium features several features that tie in the venue to the culture and history of the city. You’ll find statues of former players outside the home plate gate, cheery blossoms planted around the grounds and the popular presidents race in the middle of the fourth inning.
The stadium is located in the Navy Yard area of Washington D.C. You can access Nationals Park via the Washington metro system, alight at the Navy Yard-Ballpark Station on the Green Line. Which located a short walk from the stadium’s centre field entrance.
