Since the first edition almost 100 years ago in 1930, the FIFA World Cup has grown to become the biggest sporting event in the world. Every four years, teams from across the globe compete for the chance to be crowned world champions.
The 23rd edition of tournament in 2026 will be significant as three countries host a World Cup for the first time featuring 48 team. Due to the distance between the 16 cities hosting matches across Canada, Mexico and the United States, venues have been split into west, central and east regions.
The east region features six stadiums across Canada and the United States. Atlanta, Boston, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia and Toronto are due to host 41 games with New York/New Jersey hosting the final.

Atlanta – Atlanta Stadium (Mercedes Benz Stadium)
Home of the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League and Atlanta United in Major League Soccer, the stadium features a capacity of 71,000. The stadium is due to host four group stage matches, one round of 32 match, one round of 16 match and a semifinal.

Boston – Boston Stadium (Gillette stadium)
Home of the New England Patriots in the National Football League and New England Revolution in Major League Soccer, the stadium features a capacity of 64,628. The stadium is due to host five group stage matches, one round of 32 match and a quarter final.

Miami – Miami Stadium (Hard Rock Stadium)
Home of the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League, the stadium features a capacity of 64,767. The stadium is due to host four group stage matches, one round of 32 match, a quarter final and the 3rd place playoff.

New York/New Jersey – New York/New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium)
Home of the New York Giants and New York Jets in the National Football League, the stadium features a capacity of 82,500. The stadium is due to host five group stage matches, one round of 32 match, one round of 16 match and the final match on July 19th 2026.

Philadelphia – Philadelphia Stadium (Lincoln Financial Field)
Home of the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League, the stadium features a capacity of 67,594. The stadium is due to host five group stage matches and one round of 16 match.

Toronto – Toronto Stadium (BMO Field)
Home of Toronto FC in Major League Soccer and the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League, the stadium features a capacity of 28,180. The stadium is due to host five group stage matches and one round of 32 match.
