The Standing Order is pub located on George Street in Edinburgh. Like all the best Wetherspoon locations, The Standing Order is located within a historic building that has been cleverly reused.

The pub is located within an 1870s neoclassical style terrace building. The building was formally used as the premises of the Union Bank of Scotland. Throughout the building you’ll find references to the building’s former life with everything from a collection of Chubb safes to a statue of the bank manager watching over the main dining room.

On the menu and behind the bar you’ll find a menu full of classic pub food and drinks that are all reasonably priced.
