The Redfern is a pub located in the suburb of Redfern, just south of Sydney’s CBD. The current venue is the most recent to occupy the site since the first pub opened there in 1853.

Originally opened as The Royal Albert Hotel, the pub would become The Courthouse Hotel when the current building was erected in the 1920s.The pub would eventually close in 1990 serving as retail space and finally a Domino’s Pizza before reopening as a pub in 2021.

Upon reopening the interiors were stripped back with the exposed brick and open ceilings showcasing the over 100-year-old history of the building. 

The venue also features a separate vintage inspired cocktail bar called Misfits located on the upper level.
