The Royal Darlington Hotel is pub located in Darlington, an inner-city suburb of Sydney. Opened in 1894 and has been an integral part of the Darlington and Redfern community.
Built in the Victorian style of pub architecture, the venue was originally intended to cater to rail workers from nearby Redfern station. The current crowd is more mixed as the pub draws in students from nearby universities.
The current pub looks virtually identical to how it would have looked when it open 130 year although the interiors would have changed several times since.
