The Occidental Hotel is pub located near Wynyard station in Sydney’s CBD. The pub is one of the oldest in the area having opened in 1850 and maintaining much of its original features. 

The pub features two bars that have been recently renovated featuring a sophisticated design of wood panelling and brown marble. The pub also features its own restaurant, The Fairmont, which is located on the first floor. 

The pub is popular for afterwork drinks with office workers spilling out onto the footpath on Friday afternoons.

The pub still offers accommodation with rooms located on the 3rd and 4th floor, a convenient location for those wishing to stay in the centre of the city.
