The Zetland Hotel is a pub located in Zetland, a suburb in the south of Sydney. A pub in some form has occupied the site of the current venue since 1887.
Originally featuring a three-story Victorian style design, the pub was heavily renovated in the 1930s in the art deco style that was popular at the time. With the third level removed, art deco features were added to the building’s new parapet most of which still exist to this day.
The pub was recently renovated which modernised most of the venues amenities and updated the design of interiors. The current interiors feel modern enough to satisfy the change in demographic of the surrounding area yet still retain many of the venues signature art deco features which is always a good thing.
