
Luxor International Airport is medium sized airport serving the city of Luxor in Egypt. The airport serves as the main domestic and international gateway to many of the historic tourist attractions located in and around Luxor.
The airport features an adequate amount of dinning and retail options that are housed within a fairly modern terminal building that features a design with draws inspiration from many if the ancient sites which are found within the city which the airport represents.
The airport is served by 18 different airlines that offer flights to cities in Egypt, Europe and the Middle East. Most flights, however, are seasonal so be sure to check if you chosen airlines offers flights during the time of year you intend to travel.
The airport is located 6km east of the centre of the city. We strongly recommend organising transport with your hotel in advance of your arrival in order to avoid any unnecessary issues when exiting the terminal building. Expect the trip into town to take approximately 25 minutes.
