The Arena das Dunas is a football stadium located in Natal, Brazil. The stadium features a capacity of 31,375 and is primarily used as the home ground of Brazilian club football team América Futebol Clube.
The stadium features a unique design that is inspired by the large sand dunes that can be found around the city of Natal, hence the name Arena das Dunas. The façade features 20 petal-shaped asymmetrical modules that are a perfect blend of form and function. The higher side protects fans from Natal’s brutal sunlight whilst the lower side allows for the air to circultate freely cooling down temperatures inside.

Since the tournament, the venue continues to be used for a number of different musical, cultural and sporting events. Tours of the stadium are also available on non-game days giving visitors the opportunity to discover a number areas that would normally be closed to the public.
Arena das Dunas is located in the Lagoa Nova area of the city. The stadium is centrally located between popular areas of the city, approximately 10km from Ponta Negra Beach and 9km from Praia do Forte.
