The Orchard is pub located in Chatswood, an area north of Sydney’s CBD. The current hotel dates back to the 1930s when it was known as Hotel Chatswood.

Very little of the pubs original interiors remain with most of the lower level, which would have been the original front bar, now occupied by a convenience store. The exteriors retain the original art deco design although the building has been vastly overshadowed by the towers that are clustered around the Chatswood interchange.

Despite all the changes, The Orchard is still a great modern take on the classic Australian Pub. Its central location and the variety of distinct areas within the venue make it one of the best in the area.
