The Golden Barley Hotel is pub located in Enmore, a suburb in the inner west of Sydney. The pub originally opened in 1939 replacing the Enmore Hotel that stood on the same site.
The venue features a distinctive, and thankfully unchanged, facade in the classic art deco architectural style which was popular for pub design in Sydney during the 1930s. The interior on the other hand has been heavily renovated with the elaborate ceiling moulding the only reminder of the long bag that used to occupy the front room of the venue.
The pub also features a leafy beer garden and a spacious modern bistro serving a variety of Australian pub classics.
