The Australian Hotel is a heritage listed pub located in the Rocks area of Sydney. The venue is one of Sydney’s oldest pubs with its license dating back to 1824 and the current structure built in 1914. The pub is affectionately known as the Aussie.
The pub features over 120 craft beers and is known for its menu of unique flavoured pizzas that include the Coat of Arms, topped with emu and kangaroo, and the saltwater crocodile pizza.
Despite its long history, the venue still maintains much of its original features with its unique back-to-back bar spread over two levels, vintage signage and pressed metal ceilings. The pubs heritage listing and ongoing conservation efforts ensure it will continue to remain an integral part of the history of the Rocks.
