Tio’s Cerveceria Is a Mexican themed bar located in Surry Hill’s known for its rotating Margarita menu and free popcorn.

Opened in 2011, the bar believes to have served over 100,000 margaritas since first opening with a live counter on their website keeping track.

The bar is dimly lit and does a great job with its theme. Papel cortado hangs from the ceiling and colourful tiles adorn the bar making it the closest thing to a Mexican cantina that you’ll find in Sydney.

A greater selection of Mexican beers, and maybe one or two on tap, would have been nice
and maybe a Mexican tune or two being about the only two things missing from the experience.
