Sky City is a casino and entertainment complex located in the centre of Auckland, New Zealand. The casino opened in 1996 as New Zealand’s second casino and remains the only casino in the city.

The casino is located at the base of the iconic Sky Tower, a telecommunications and observation tower that was constructed around the same time as the casino. The main casino area features a modern design and includes 2,100 Gaming Machines and 150 Table Games aimed at different skill levels including VIP and high limit rooms.

The Sky City complex also features three hotels catering to different budgets. From the eponymous Sky City Hotel to the Grand and the recently opened 5-star Horizon Hotel. The casino also features numerous and diverse dinning options with everything from local fare to some of the best takes on classic Asian cuisine available.

The casino also features 600 seat Sky City Theatre that regularly hosts some of the best local and international music and entertainment. Other attractions that can be found at the casino include the All Black Experience and Weta Workshop Unleashed. The casino’s main attraction is undoubtedly the 328-meter Sky Tower, one of the city’s top attractions at the centre point of the casino complex that offers visitors three unique ways to experience one of the tallest structures in the Southern Hemisphere.
