Belmore Sports Ground is a multi-purpose stadium located in Belmore, a suburb in the south west of Sydney.

Building on the stadium began in 1920 with numerous expansions taking place over the next 100 years. In 1936, a stand from the famous Sydney Cricket Ground was purchased and rebuilt at Belmore. The stadium’s current capacity is 20,000, which is spread across the main grandstand and an unseated hill area, a common feature of many suburban football grounds in NSW.

The stadium is best known as the original home ground of the Canterbury Bulldogs who have played here for the majority of their history. Belmore sports ground is also the home ground of Sydney Olympic FC a football club that plays in the NSW National Premier League.

Belmore Sports Ground was last redeveloped in 2011. Luckily the redevelopments didn’t take away any of the ground’s old-time charm, something which the larger, more modern stadiums cannot replicate.
