

Chihuly Garden and Glass is a museum located in Seattle, Washington that showcases the art of local artist Dale Chihuly. The museum opened in 2012 within the Seattle Centre and is located at the base of the iconic Space Needle.
Dale Chihuly is a world-renowned glass artist known for his unique and colourful glass sculptures and installations. Chihuly’s work is featured in over 200 museum collections around the world and is one of Washington state’s most famous artists.
The museum was envisaged as a way of bringing together a collection of Chihuly’s famous glassworks in a permanent exhibition. Featured throughout the museum are some of the best examples of Chihuly’s work, from stringy glass orbs and chandeliers to his signature colourful, shell-like arrangements.
