Stadium Guide: Etihad Stadium, Manchester

TRIP Etihad Stadium is a football stadium located in the city of Manchester, home ground of English Premier League club Manchester City. The stadium’s seating capacity was recently expanded in 2015 to 55,097 making it the tenth largest in the United Kingdom.

TAP Originally built as part of Manchester’s hosting of the 2002 Commonwealth Games, the stadium is now primarily used for football. The stadium has occasionally hosted a variety of other sports and is also a popular concert venue for both local and international musicians. The stadium has been expertly designed; spacious internal and external areas make it easy for visitors to move between their seats and the stadiums wide range of amenities (food, drink and merchandise).
